Proposals from masses received for constitutional amendments: Rabbani

ISLAMABAD,Jul 28: The Chairman of constitutional amendment committee Raza Rabbani said common man; organizations and political parties could give their proposals for amendments in constitution.

Rabbani while talking to media after constitutional committee meeting said suggestions have been received from the masses, which have been reviewed in the meeting. He appealed Pakistan Bar Council and provincial Bar Councils to submit their proposals for constitutional amendments. The masses and organizations will submit proposals till August 1 whereas political parties could present suggestions till August 10.

Rabbani said he is trying to seek mutual consent over sensitive and complex issue of constitutional amendments. The next meeting of committee will be held on August 18.
